On 18 April, the RBC Event Centre site hosts the First Russian Data Forum on the role of data in Russia’s digital development.

At the event, sector leaders, including experts from the Big Data Association, ANO Digital Economy, Russia’s Digitalisation Ministry and its Ministry for Economic Development, the Centre for Strategic Development, Rostelecom, MTS, Sberbank, Tinkoff, QIWI, Yandex, VK, Avito and others, will discuss aspects of digital transformation of the state, business and society.

The Forum organisers are the Big Data Association and ANO Digital Economy and it is supported by the Russian Ministry of Digitalisation.

The speakers at the Forum will include IRS Advisory Group Managing Partner Ruslan Ibragimov. During the session called “Normative regulation of the data market. Data and society”, he will assess the state of and prospects for development of data market regulation in Russia. The discussants will talk about the main regulatory barriers and opportunities, and requests by market players.
